Content Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Xpology is for moments of repair. The rules below exist so it stays a place where that kind of writing is possible.

This policy applies to both public and private Xpologies. Some reporting features are only available on public Xpologies.

Write about your own experience

An Xpology is yours — your apology, your gratitude, your closure. Write from your side of the relationship. Don't put words in anyone else's mouth.

What's not allowed

  • Slurs, hate speech, or targeting people for who they are.
  • Harassment, threats, or content meant to shame or intimidate.
  • Private information about other people — addresses, phone numbers, government IDs, financial details, intimate images.
  • Impersonating someone else, real or fictional.
  • Sexual content involving minors. Ever.
  • Promoting self-harm, suicide, or violence.
  • Spam, scams, or using Xpology as a marketing channel.
  • Illegal content under applicable law.

Recipients can ask for removal

If an Xpology is addressed to you, you can request that it be taken down directly from the page. We review these requests carefully and may remove the content when appropriate.

Oracle responsibility

Oracle may help draft your words, but you remain responsible for everything you choose to publish.

Reporting

Every public Xpology has a Report link. Tell us what's wrong and, if it helps, why. A human looks at reports. We may hide content while we review it.

What happens when something is removed

Removed Xpologies are hidden from public view. The link will show a short notice that the page is no longer public. Repeat or serious violations may end your ability to use Xpology.
